Position Qualifications

Previous Experience

Career Level: 1-4 Years of Experience

Software Proficiency

• Illustrator – Including quickly creating custom icons, logos, and illustrations.
• Adobe XD – Creating complete website wireframes and designs.
• Photoshop – Including detailed photo manipulation and beautiful, properly layered print flier and banner designs.
• Figma – Rapidly creating detailed website and app designs.

Common Duties

Day-to-day work is performed thoroughly and efficiently, mindful of how design tasks fit into larger project timelines. 

Design Tasks

• Branding: Create a branding guide for clients, which will become a blueprint for creative designs (logo, color selection, font selection, layout requirements, etc.)
• Wireframing: Designing the website at the structural level establishing the flow of design solutions taking into account design briefs.
• UI / UX designs: Proper and logical execution of design elements and prototypes to make the user experience seamless and understand the target audience’s mindset.
  • Design for websites: Convert copy into attractive, story-driven website designs with properly executed graphics. 
  • Design for print media: Produce properly sized and colored designs as required for print items, including banners, magazines, flyers, eBooks, t-shirts, etc.

General Expectations

• Collaboration with developers: Meet with developers to plan designs so the transition from design to development is seamless.
• Research: Find or provide design inspiration to help clients visualize the target outcome.
• Training: Continuous self-improvement using company-provided relevant training and seminars.
